Travel

The Williamsburg Lodge is in the heart of the historic district with direct access from interstate highway (I-64). It is located 50 minutes (46 miles) from the Richmond International Airport (RIC), 30 minutes (17 Miles) from the Newport News International Airport (PHF), and 60 minutes (38 miles) from Norfolk International Airport (ORF).

RIC supports most flight itineraries with international connections, and experiences the least traffic congestion. PHF is a primarily local airport with fewer flight options. ORF also supports most flight itineraries with international connections, but a tunnel and bridge between ORF and Williamsburg cause frequent traffic problems.

There is an Amtrak train station in downtown Williamsburg (WBG), which supports rail travel from most East Coast Cities in the US. The station is ~1 mile from the Lodge, and is served by taxis and ride-sharing applications.
